Regular Verbs

    Regular verbs take an -ed in the past, contrary to irregular verbs.

    examples: present tense = The Reading/Writing center opens at 8:00 a.m.
                       past tense = The Reading/Writing center openedat 8:00 a.m.

                       present tense = She walks to the Reading/Writing center every morning.
                      past tense = She walked to the Reading/Writing center this morning.
 
 

 Change the following verbs into past tense.
 

• This student smiles all the time.
• The shooting of the movie occurs at the Place de la Republique in Paris.
• The weather seems nice outside.
• This man follows Brooke Shields everywhere.
• All students remember their favorite teacher.
